Conquest points are one of the newest additions to the game, previously known as arena points. The arena system has been changed a bit. Points are now earned on a game by game basis, you gain a certain amount for each win you get until you hit the maximum points allowed for the week.

Unlike honor points these are earned only through competing in rated arena matches. The one acception for this rule is that the daily battlgeground win bonus gives 25 conquest points. Conquest points are limited weekly and they roll over after each maintenance which occur every tuesday morning. These points are earned by being on a team of 2, 3, or 5 people and by battling other teams of the same size.

Conquest points are the highest level of pvp currency and with high enough rankings one can purchase the best gear available. Conquest points allow the player to access gear as soon as they get the points until they hit the cap unlike the previous currency system where the player had to wait a week till the points were available and was based upon ranking.
